  1. Colleges, universities, junior colleges, community colleges
    Bulletin boards
    Financial aid office
    Job service office
    Send flyers to professors and ask that they pass them on to students
 
  2. Internet Job listings - Monster.com
    Put an offer on your web site and provide a form to complete and e-mail back to you
    Post information on a recruitment web site
    Post information in a virtual job fair
 
  3. Malls - place an ad in the notebooks advertising positions
 
  4. Libraries - post want ads on community bulletin boards
 
  5. Churches - place ads in church bulletins or on bulletin boards
 
  6. Recreation Centers, Day Care centers Senior Centers - Place an ad in their newsletters or post on their bulletin boards
 
  7. Run a contest with current employees offering a reward for a new employee who stays 60 days.
 
  8. Offer a prize to a family member of a current employee who recommends a new employee who stays 60 days.
 
  9. Request that anyone who is leaving find his or her own replacement!
 
  10. Run a radio spot on a local radio station.
 
  11. Rent an ad in your local movie theatre to show before the movie starts.
 
  12. Offer a scholarship of any kind. Include job opportunities on the application form.
 
  13. Hang out in the Business section at a local bookstore and talk to anyone picking up a book on job interviews.
 
  14. Include an announcement about any openings on your voice mail message.
 
  15. Make your flyers that you post on bright, multi-colored paper from Paper Direct. It will make your ad stand out on a bulletin board filled with one-color ads.
 
  16. Send information to local teachers' unions and school districts for summer help.
 
  17. Ask applicants who are being interviewed for the names of 2 or 3 other people who might be interested in positions.
