II don’t
see a description for what we are looking for in a training program;
can Ruby customize a session specifically to fit our needs?
Ruby prides herself in tailoring every training program to fit her
client’s specific needs. If there is a topic you would like
to see Ruby present that is not listed in her program descriptions
Ruby is happy to discuss options with you. There may be an additional
developmental fee involved for new programs that you request. If
your request is outside Ruby’s expertise, she is happy to
offer suggestions for another speaker whom she would recommend for
your program. Back to Top
How long
are her programs?
All of Ruby’s programs can
be presented in a short (1.25 hour) or long (3 hour) workshop. They
are appropriate for in-house staff training or breakout session
at conferences. Ruby can also help you plan a full day training
program by combining programs to fit the format for which you are
looking. Back to Top
Does Ruby
ever do multiple programs at a conference?
The most popular request is for Ruby to do a Keynote and then one
or two breakout sessions during the conference. She can also MC
the awards banquet and has offered a great magic show in between
the awards for a number of associations. There is also the option
of a Pre-conference session that can be a money maker for the association.
See Pre-Conference Packages for more
information. Back to Top
Does Ruby
care how many people are in her audience for each session?
Ruby has provided training for groups ranging from 2 to 700. It
depends on the material to be covered. Some topics are more conducive
to large groups and some are better for smaller groups. Some groups
have Ruby repeat a session so more people can attend the training,
one group can come in the morning session and then the program is
repeated for the next group in the afternoon. Class sizes are best
25-30 but Ruby can accommodate larger groups if needed. Back to Top
Does Ruby
offer facilitation?
Yes! Ruby has worked with a number of groups as a facilitator. Ruby
wears many hats as a Professional Speaker. To learn more about how
Ruby can help your organization, click

Does Ruby
provide training on evenings and weekends?
Yes! Ruby finds it very helpful to offer a variety of timeframes
for her training. If you are requesting training for recreation
center staff, it may be best to hold the training on a Sunday night
after the center closes so everyone may attend. If the audience
is mostly part-time staff, an evening session or a Saturday morning
session might work. Ruby is very flexible in this respect and will
accommodate your specific requests. Back to Top
How does
she handle travel arrangements?
Once a training date is confirmed, we will contact other clients
in nearby cities or countries to attempt to schedule other consultations
and workshops. All airfare will be pro-rated between clients when
possible. We will work with you to determine ground transportation
and hotel. We greatly appreciate your assistance in finding other
organizations in your area that would benefit from Ruby’s
programs. Back to Top
What costs
are involved in travel arrangements?
Ruby’s travel expenses include roundtrip coach airfare from
Denver International Airport (Airfare will be prorated when the
itinerary involves multiple clients), lodging, ground transportation,
airport parking and $40 per Diem allowance for meals. Ruby bills
the client following the engagement for these expenses. Hotel arrangements
are to be secured and directly billed to the client whenever possible. Back to Top
What do
your seminars cost?
For more information about our fees, please contact
us. Back to Top
What is
the payment schedule for Ruby’s engagements?
50% of the total fee investment is required to confirm the date.
That date will be taken off hold after the deposit is received.
Balance of the fee is due at the time of engagement. Travel expenses
are billed directly following the engagement. Back to Top
Can Ruby
accept credit cards for payment?
We accept Visa, Master Card and even the Military Impact cards.
We can’t
afford Ruby’s fees, but we really want her! Do you have any
ideas on how we can make this work?
Here are some ideas:
1) Some organizations choose to host the event and invite other
agencies or departments to attend and either pay a per person admission
fee or ask other departments to share the investment.
2) Provide names of other agencies in the area that might be interested
in training while Ruby is in the area and then they can share travel
expenses with you.
3) Find a sponsor who would be willing to pay the speaking fee or
cover travel expenses for the opportunity to introduce Ruby and
say something about their services to a focused audience. In this
case, Ruby will also put their logo in her handout. Their logo and
information can go in the flyer and we will put their link on Ruby’s
web site for the sponsorship. Ruby can work directly with the sponsoring
organization to make this work. Back to Top
Does Ruby
ever speak for free?
Ruby is frequently asked to donate her services and will do so on
a limited basis. Please contact us
to see if she has any openings in your timeframe. Back to Top
Is Ruby
available on the date that I need her?

Ruby’s schedule, however keep
in mind that we have several dates that we hold for potential clients
so please contact our office as soon
