Why should you listen to me?
For over two decades I worked as a Facility Manager. I supervised hundreds of staff members during that time. But I am not proud of the kind of supervisor I was in the beginning. At first, I didn't have a clue about what I was doing. I didn't understand how important staff relationships were and what a bad perception I left with my employees as I barked orders. So I am bound and determined to save supervisors from making the same mistakes I made.
Let me paint the picture of
what it could look like for you
and your role as a leader.
Think of what you can look forward to.
Imagine watching your operation run like clock work. Every aspect of your business running flawlessly because of the great team you have created.
You bask in a pride of a job well done, then watch as all your customers enjoy their visit. They smile with every dollar they spend with you because the service is so impeccable.
After their visit, they rush to their phone to tell all their friends what a great experience they had in your hands.
Now imagine this happening not just once in a while, but with every guest all season long.
Pretty soon you have to hire more staff to keep up with the crowds that want to visit your venue.
You become regarded as the definite leader of the pack. The boss that everyone wants. The frequent focus of upper management's attention. Then your colleagues start calling because they want to know your secrets. How do you keep your staff so happy? Applicants are knocking down the door to work for you.
Even when you're relaxing and spending quality time with your loved ones, you know that your business is running like clockwork. Your staff is handling everything that needs to happen to ensure a positive guest experience for every visitor.
This is what is possible at the top reaches of the management ladder . . .
"There have been many challenges in our first two months in the new facility but our staff have consistently performed at high levels and have received praise from across the city for their friendliness and their service focus. We have had a great opening to the new facility and your training program helped to prepare us for the overwhelming reaction this facility has created in the community."
